Modern Longboat Key Canal Home

This modern canal front home was designed using several palm species in the front to provide screening from neighbors. Focal planters with a fountain feature add interest to the front planters. Addressing the owner's request, additional areca and fishtail palms provide privacy and screening along the walkways and back dock area. Natural stone laid out in geometric lines was used for the drive, entry and pool deck to compliment the architecture. An intimate backyard retreat was thoughtfully planned out to include a firepit seating area and lap pool.
