Simply Modern Oasis

Originally designed by architect Tim Seibert in the 1960's, this Sarasota School of Architecture home has equally impressive landscaping. Each of the exterior design elements including the motor court, walkways, gates, asymmetrical pool and intimate garden incorporates geometric shapes in keeping with the modern architecture. 

French Inspired Bayfront

Palm Island Retreat

This 2.5 acre island retreat on Palm Island required a ferry to carry out this large installation.  Custom iron & coral stone gates were inspired by the mangrove and herons on the property.  The design was carried out with the alarm and lights at the gated entry.  For privacy, the Florida Style home was set back by a reclaimed brick drive lined by lush tropical trees.

Many design details including, a lagoon style pool/jacuzzi, a waterfall feature using large boulders, meandering walks, a custom tiki hut for entertaining and an intimate arbor swing completed the owner's vision for their resort-style retreat.

Modern Coastal Bayfront

This elegant Bird Key retreat includes a lush gated entrance with majestic royal palms, a curved motor court & ipe bridge/fountain entrance. Hidden side gardens offer the owner's privacy. A dramatic pool/spa with multi-level vanishing edges takes advantage of the bayfront view framed by coconut palms, coral stone patios/walkways and several fire bowls, perfect for evening entertaining.

Dream Island Paradise

This lushly landscaped botanical garden is situated on two acres on Longboat Key bayside. The client desired that the new design incorporate the canopy of mature trees. The result: a stunning entry, extensive brick drive flanked by fire bowl columns, more than 20 palm varieties, crushed granite/stone paths, intimate spaces with one-of-a-kind sculpture fountains/flowering trees/colorful ground covers, bamboo screening, private meditation garden, raised herb garden, circular fire pit and beautiful pool/spa overlooking the bay.

Night shots provide an entirely different experience to a guest, as they view at night with dramatic landscape lighting.  Each area is carefully considered for overall sight lines, enhancing walking paths, evening entertaining and overall safety and security.

Florida Small Cottage

What was once a small mid-century built home, was transformed into a beautifully crafted Florida cottage by the owners.  Due to its location to a heavily traveled road nearby, the clients requested a lush hidden garden with privacy. A welcome arbor entry with wooden fencing surrounds the small property.  A whimsical design of  tropical and topiary trees, walks, statues and fountains provides an inviting feel all the way to the backyard's open sitting area and unique gardening shed.

Longboat Key Residence

This is a 3,000 sqft energy efficient Beach House on the north end of Longboat Key directly on the Gulf of Mexico. The challenge was to located the home as close as possible towards the beach and to maintain the privacy from the neighbors. 

Harbor Drive Residence

The exterior of the home is characterized by its Spanish Barrel Tile roof, which adds a touch of Old World charm and exotic flair. The house sits on a spacious lot with direct water access, offering breathtaking views of the Ringling Blvd Bridge and the surrounding waterways.

The interior of the home boasts a spacious floor plan, with a large kitchen that features not one, but two islands. The kitchen is a chef's dream, with plenty of counter space, modern appliances, and plenty of room to prep meals. The kitchen is open to the living area, which is centered around a cozy fireplace, perfect for snuggling up on cool evenings.

The home also features a luxurious pool and outdoor fireplace, providing the perfect spot for relaxing and entertaining. Exterior lighting elevates the house by night, adding to its grandeur and ambiance.

Inside, the home is finished with a light and airy white color scheme, creating a sense of openness and brightness. Hidden air supply ensures that the home is comfortable and well-ventilated year-round.

Harbor Acres Bayfront

This Transitional British West Indies bay front home, includes: tropical landscape design, a decorative concrete driveway/auto court, inviting pearl marble staircase and an aluminum/wood detailed gated wall entrance.  The bayside pool/jacuzzi area incorporates a clean, open design with a semi-circle wet shelf, surrounded by pearl marble. Copper tiki torches and Italian pottery planters add simple touches for an unobstructed view of the Sarasota Bayfront.

Modern Longboat Key Canal Home

This modern canal front home was designed using several palm species in the front to provide screening from neighbors.  Focal planters with a fountain feature add interest to the front planters.  Addressing the owner's request, additional areca and fishtail palms provide privacy and screening along the walkways and back dock area.  Natural stone laid out in geometric lines was used for the drive, entry and pool deck to compliment the architecture.  An intimate backyard retreat was thoughtfully planned out to include a firepit seating area and lap pool.  

Woodland Park - Florida Charm

Combining the Florida charm of mature oaks, cabbage palms and philodendron, this landscape design has the feel of a small botanical garden.  A reclaimed brick walk takes you from the entry with beds of tropical palms, birds of paradise, bromeliads, Hawaiian Tis & colorful annuals, through a walkable path surrounded by bougainvillea, lady palms, ligustrum trees & a collection of orchids. Completing the design on the opposite side of the home are: bouganvillea, plumeria, ferns, oaks, verigated loriope and a striking white bird of paradise.

Woodland Park Charm

Venice Retreat

This gulf view getaway is tucked between two homes on Venice Beach. The clients wanted a tropical paradise to spend time with family and friends.  A narrow drive of shellcrete - which shimmers in the sunlight - and brick border leads you to a solid brick motor court with a herringbone pattern.   A mix of large palms, colorful crotons, ground cover, bougainvillea and other tree forms create a tropical haven in front.  The natural coral stone entry welcomes you to this Florida-style coastal home.  

Calypso coral flagstones defined by dark beach pebbles create walkways on both sides of the home that lead to a wide open ocean view.  Pergolas on the back of the home and side of the expansive pool, allow partial shade in the intense heat.  To connect the front and back designs, natural coral stone is used for the entire pool deck, outdoor fire pit area and private sunning areas. Unique Sukabumi tile was imported from Bali for this resort size pool, offering a beautiful green hue and natural purifying elements. The large rectangular shape with spa provides ample space for water sports and entertaining family and friends. A variety of palms and tropical vegetation provides privacy on both sides of the property, with an open view for evening sunsets.
